What is Sketzi?
Sketzi is a free browser-based multiplayer drawing and guessing game. One player gets a secret word and draws it on the shared canvas while the other players try to guess the word before the timer runs out. The goal is simple: draw clearly, guess quickly, and have fun together.
You can start a public game through Quick Play or create a private room and share the room code with friends. There is no app download required, so players can join from a supported desktop or mobile browser and start playing from the same website.
Take turns drawing clues and guessing what another player is drawing. The game uses short rounds so everyone gets a chance to participate.
Choose your name and avatar, then look for a public game with other real players.
Create a room and share its code with friends for a private drawing and guessing session.
Fast correct guesses can earn more points, while the drawer can also receive points when players guess correctly.
How to play Sketzi
Getting started is straightforward. Enter a player name, choose an avatar, and decide whether you want to find a public game or create a private room. Once players are together, the game moves through drawing and guessing rounds.
Use Quick Play to find a public match, or create a private room and invite friends using the room code.
Watch the canvas and use the chat to submit your guesses while another player draws.
When it is your turn, choose an available word and draw the clue so the other players can identify it.
After the rounds finish, players can continue into a rematch or return to the home screen.
Talk while you play
Sketzi includes real-time browser voice chat so players can talk while they draw and guess. Turn the microphone on when you want to speak and hear the other players in your room. Voice chat is designed to make private games more social without requiring a separate voice application.
If you prefer not to speak, you can keep your microphone off and continue playing normally. Drawing, guessing, chat, scoring and the game flow remain available without voice chat.
Play in a browser on mobile or desktop
Sketzi is designed as a web game rather than a downloadable application. The website provides a responsive interface for supported mobile and desktop browsers, so players can join without installing a separate game client.
On a phone or tablet, players can enter their name, join a room, use game chat and draw or guess during a match. On desktop, the same multiplayer game can be played with a larger screen and keyboard-friendly interaction.
Why play Sketzi?
Drawing games work best when the rules are easy to understand and rounds keep moving. Sketzi brings the main parts of a social drawing game together in one browser experience: a shared canvas, guessing chat, player turns, scoring, public matchmaking, private rooms, rematches and optional voice chat.
The game is suitable for casual sessions with friends or for meeting other players through Quick Play. You do not need to install a desktop or mobile app to try a match. Open the site, choose how you want to play, and join the next round.
