Learn Sketzi in a few minutes
Sketzi is a social drawing and guessing game. One player draws a secret word while the other players try to guess it in chat.
1. Choose how to play
- Quick Play: enter your name and find a public game.
- Create Private Room: create a room and share its code with friends.
- Join Room: enter a six-character room code.
2. During a round
The current drawer receives word choices. Choose a word and draw it on the canvas. Other players type guesses into Chat / Guess. Correct guesses earn points.
3. Voice chat
Sketzi includes optional room voice chat. On a supported HTTPS connection, tap Join Voice and allow microphone access when your browser asks. You can leave voice whenever you want.
4. Rematch
When the game ends, players can choose Continue to join a rematch or Home to return to the lobby. Players who do not continue can remain spectators.
5. Tips
- Keep drawings recognizable and avoid writing the actual word.
- Use Quick Play when you want to meet other players.
- Use a private room when playing with friends.
- Use a stable internet connection for the best real-time experience.
🏆 How Scoring Works
Guess quickly to earn more points. The first correct guess earns the most, then the reward decreases for later correct guesses. The drawer also earns bonus points every time another player guesses the word, so clear and recognizable drawings are rewarded.
